Allah said: …and spend out of that in which He has made you successors. For those who have believed among you and spent, there will be a great reward. [Quran 57:7].

A man asked the Prophet (صلى الله عليه و سلم): “Which charity brings the greatest reward?” He replied: “That you give in charity when you are healthy, feeling miserly, whilst you fear poverty and are in hope of becoming rich. So do not delay until you are at the point of death and then you say: “Give this to so-and-so and give that to so-and-so,” when at that point [your wealth and property] already belongs to so-and-so!”

Salaam, I was wondering if there was any plans to extend the women’s section and prayer facilities in the mosque? I strongly believe this is greatly required given the evident high demand and crowding seen on many Friday prayers. The current space is not fulfilling the needs of the community and there is evidently a large female interest in praying in mosque and I believe it is the mosques responsibility to accommodate that. The space is tiny, poorly ventilated and does not have space for women to put their children, making it difficult to hear the prayer. Why deprive one gender from experiencing the joy that is praying together as an ummah and seeking God’s bounty, and not the other?
    Peace and blessings,
    Isra

      Wa alaykum As Salaam
Dear Sister we plan to start the Masjid Extension in July 2018 and yes more space will be generated on the sisters side to overcome the space and ventilation issues at present. However it is likely that when more space is created more sisters will attend prayers making it cramped. We may possibly limit the number of sisters allowed to enter during busy periods to help overcome the issue of overcrowding and make it more comfortable for sisters inside
