Pay Fidiyyah

Fidiyyah is paid by those unable to fast in Ramadan due to pregnancy, breastfeeding, chronic illness, or old age. These categories of people DO NOT have to make up the missed fast. (opinion of Ibn Abbas and Ibn Umar radiyallahu anhuma)

Such a person gives 1.5 kg of rice for each day of fasting they miss – this is equivalent to £3 per day, or £90 for the entire month.
