TIMINGS & PUNCTUALITY
Weekday hours are Mondays to Thursdays 4:30 pm – 6:00 pm. Most of the holidays are in line with local schools. Darul Quran does not operate during Ramadan.
Grace time is allowed up to 5 minutes for being late on an occasional basis. If you know that the child will be more than 5 minutes late, a phone call/message to respective class teacher is required to inform that the child will be late. The same rule applies if your child will be absent for the day. If your child continuously has unauthorised absences, they may lose their place at the Darul Quran.Islamic dress code is required of all the students in the Darul Quran.

DISCIPLINE POLICY
The students are expected to conduct themselves in a proper, responsible and Islamic manner, respecting their teachers and other adults, their fellow students and all property. A student whose actions infringes upon the rights of others will be held responsible for the actions, and disciplinary measures may be taken This will first involve discussions with the parents and white/yellow/red report cards will be issued. Consistent misbehaviour may lead to expulsion.

REFRESHMENTS
We encourage all children to bring a water bottle with them – there is a water dispenser in the masjid for refills. Your child can bring snacks that are nut-free.

ILLNESS
Please let the Administrator know of any absences due to illness.
It is fine to send your child to the masjid with a minor cough or cold, but please do not send them if they have any COVID related symptoms. And please observe the self-isolation timing rules. Children with diarrhoea or vomiting should not be sent to Darul Quran until 24 hours after their symptoms have gone.

WAIVER OF RESPONSIBILTY/DISCLAIMER
LIC cannot be held responsible for unsupervised areas and times before and after the lesson hours for participants. The parent(s) understand(s) that during the lessons at LIC in case of a mishap or an unforeseen accident on the masjid premises, neither LIC nor its representatives will be liable or responsible.

PARKING
We strongly recommend parents/guardians park their cars and accompany the child to the masjid. Please do not park on the zigzag lines / Bhavin’s driveway and do not block any neighbour’s driveway.  We will be contacting you if you are seen to park inconveniently and Bhavin’s may also be noting / taking photos of car registration details.

HOMETIME
Pupils will line up in their class areas. Teachers will wait in the entrance/exit areas. When you arrive at the door, the teacher will send out your child.
If you are happy to let your child walk home by themselves / to the location where you normally park, please inform the manager – Shakeel Hussain.

FEES
Admission fee is £20.00. Darul Quran fees are to be paid weekly- £7/week per child.
Sibling discount: for 2 attending siblings £14/week and 3 attending siblings £18/week.
For more than 3 attending siblings, please contact the office for the Fees.
